StandardDeviationOutlier

Description

'STDev Outlier' verses configure Mona to find segments with a significant difference in a metric's standard deviation compared to the baseline segment's standard deviation in a given time range. The anomaly level for a given segment is defined by the difference in the metric's STDev from the baseline, divided by the baseline's STDev. So a segment with double the STDev as the baseline will have an anomaly level of 1. Note that segments with lower STDev than the baseline can have a maximal anomaly level of 1.

In this example we see an StandardDeviationOutlier verse which is configured to search for specific company ids or countries (or any intersection of company and country) where in the last 8 weeks (time_period) the STDev of "model_output" is at least 50% (min_anomaly_level) higher (trend_directions) then the STDev of all the data.
